Uniform protection for your inventions in 18 EU countries?
As of June 1, 2023, a European unitary patent has been available for the first time; it is currently valid in 18 participating member states of the European Union. It is part of a new European patent system, which for the first time also includes a Unified Patent Court (UPC).
